Emily, Grace Ann, Melanie and Isaiah... Grace and Isaiah's 1st parade
The girls enjoyed a donut while Isaiah hung out in his stroller
The girls watching the fire truck go by
Emily showing Grace Ann what to do with the candy they threw out
I brought Emily back with me from a visit to Manchester in honor of Lori's birthday. The next morning I took the girls and Isaiah to see a parade in Murfreesboro. This was Grace Ann's first parade. We didn't see much because half the parade took the wrong street and cut the parade short for us. ( A big disappointment for me more so than the kids) None of us could figure out what happened..including the police who had the street blocked off.... goofy college kids!

Isaiah, Mel, Grace Ann and Adam.. whew it was cold!
Farmer Isaiah in his long pajamas and overallsOur Sunday school class had a fall party the day after Halloween at our friend's house in Woodbury. They live out in the country. It was fun to hang outside around the campfire eating hot dogs, making smores, and playing guitar. We love visiting with our friends!

Isaiah was really excited about his first trick-or-treat
Melanie the Queen, Isaiah the frog and Grace Ann the princess
Yes I dressed up this year for Halloween with my two babies! We went trick-or-treating on the square in Murfreesboro. It was neat to have a safe place during the day to take the kids. All the businesses on the square were passing out candy to everybody. One lady commented to Grace how hard it would be to turn that frog into a prince. (The funny thing was I didn't plan it that way and only realized then how funny and cute we really were! Should I admit that or just claim to be creative? Grace was supposed to be a doctor and decided to wear her dress-ups instead) Then we went over to Michelle's house to pass out candy with Gran.

3 generations of Davis men.. Adam, Isaiah, and Gilbert
Ashley, Andrew, Adam, Isaiah, Mel, Gilbert and Grace Ann DavisThe day before Isaiah turned 3 months old we had the privilege of dedicating him to the Lord at our church. We also had the pleasure of sharing that with some family members! Our preschool minister had us stand up in front of the church while she shared some information about our family and Isaiah, two pictures of him were on a slide show, and they shared our verses for him. (The verses were out of the book of Isaiah) Brother Dean gave the church and us a charge. We also prayed for our precious boy. Nine other families dedicated their babies too. Isaiah received a certificate, Bible, and letter from our pastor to be opened on his 13th birthday. I received a book about prayer for our children. It was a really great experience. I only wish we had the same for Grace Ann. (I wish we could do it again with her!)

Birthday Buddies
This is Isaiah and my great-neice, Maddie. They share the same birthday. I think it is absolutely hilarious to see the differences in their sizes and personalities. Who do you think is the extrovert?

Little boy clothes
Isaiah in his "little boy" clothes
What a sweet boy!
My sweet little boy and me!
Gran and Papa came over tonight to eat hamburgers with us. Gran commented this was the first time she had seen Isaiah in little boy clothes. I asked her what she meant. She responded that he was always in baby clothes. I got to thinking about what she meant. Isaiah actually looked like a little boy! eeek! He is still my sweet baby! He makes little boy clothes adorable! Too bad I never caught all the sweet smiles he was sporting. (My camera sends him in a trance and I lose his grins. Plus it is too slow.. oh well)
