My "children" playing in the snow.. well.. Isaiah is crying..not sure about this cold, wet stuff

Yea! We finally got some snow worthy of playing in around here!

The view of my back yard from the porch

Views of my front yard from the other porch

I suppose this daffodil didn't have a chance.. poor thing

Mom! I can't move my arms!

My babies are ready for the snow!

Some of us were more thrilled than others to be in the snow.

Adam's 1st snow angel.. too bad I wasn't quick enough to catch him making it.. He refused to lay down there again.

Grace Ann made a sweet little snow angel.

Mel made a nice snow angel too.

Even Annie, Our dog made her own snow angel... She was too quick too.. Monkey see..monkey do. .well I think she thinks we are dogs actually.

Mother and son.. His first time in the snow! (7 months old here)

Isaiah got to sit in the swing while we built the snowman. He wasn't very thrilled.

We decided it best to build the snowman on top of Grace Ann's play set. Our dog couldn't resist destroying every snowball Adam created. The snowman never had a chance on the ground with her around.

Adam and Melanie enjoyed helping Grace build her first snowman.. Well actually we did most of the building. Okay.. Melanie took over Adam's job and he chose to throw snowballs at her rear.

We gave our snowman a carrot for a nose, stick arms , rocks for his eyes, and a piece of mulch for a mouth. Sorry no hat man.

Grace Ann was proud of her snowman. She was so worried he might try to slide or fall down her slide. Now she realizes he will probably just melt away like Frosty instead.

On Sunday, March 1, 2009 we woke up to what they said was four inches of snow. Bro. Dean called us early that morning and it was decided we would only have the 10:30 a.m. church service. So it was very exciting that all of us would get to play in the snow together before Daddy went to church. (The children and I chose to praise God by enjoying His creation) I layered all of us up in clothes. Grace got a kick out of wearing panties, footed pajamas, two pairs of training pants, pajamas, another shirt, coat, hat, mittens, and rain boots. Whew! Adam just laughed at me. We had a great time throwing snowballs, eating snowballs, creating snow angels and building a snow man. It was fun to see Grace Ann enjoying the snow.
