I got the bright idea that we needed to get Grace Ann a kite. It is spring and we have a large back yard. Both perfect for kite flying. Grace was so excited and couldn't wait to pick out her new kite. Nic helped us put it together. (I am challenged by those things.. hee hee) There was a little wind outside. Perfect for a toddler. She did manage to get it in the trees and poke a hole in it. Lift off was a different story. She spent her time mostly running down the yard with the kite behind her. (Great for nap time.. hee hee)
I say that considering our experience the next day with the Dora kite Daddy bought her. He flew it for her. It scared her to death. She cried and screamed because she thought Dora was going to get lost in the sky. It was a much more traumatic experience. (Adam almost pegged the next door neighbor who was mowing his lawn on his riding lawn mower. We really know how to impress our neighbors around here )

That's as good as it gets today little one.
