Big Brother/Big Sister Class at the hospital (June 14)

Adam and I went with Grace Ann to the hospital on our 11th anniversary to attend a Big Brother/ Big Sister class. It was a pretty good class for Grace Ann and us. I enjoyed watching her interact and respond to the teacher. I have never seen her in a class setting. It was quite cute. Most of what the teacher said was probably over her head. However, it was helpful to me. Grace also enjoyed the movie with the babies in it. We got to tour the area where the mommies go to have babies. We saw new babies in the nursery, a recovery room, and delivery room. Adam and I got the chance to ask some questions too. It was very informative. Grace is very proud of her Big Sister shirt.

That evening Adam and I went out to eat by ourselves. We then stopped by Babies R Us. I got Grace a Big Sister book that I have since read numerous times. All in all it was a good day for us. Funny how you spend your anniversaries after you have kids and have less money. We used to go on nice vacations and celebrate there. Hmm.. what is a vacation? Oh well.
